According to an article in the 4/26/06 Billings Gazette by Ruffin Prevost, Park County Tourism Director Claudia Wade was presented the tourism industry's top honor, the "Big WYO" award. The award was presented by Governor Dave Freudenthal at the Governor's Conference on Hospitality & Lodging in Casper.
The award is given annually to someone who has given service beyond the call of duty in promoting Wyoming and the tourism industry.
Wade has been the Director of the Park County Travel Council since 1987.
