The Cody city council approved a trick shooting show that will be held in front of the Big Bear Motel on Cody's west strip this summer June - September. According to the show operator, two daily shows will be performed at 11 am and 3 pm, seven days per week. The show will be free of charge to the public and generate income through advertising sponsorships and the sale of concessions and souvenirs.
The show will include trick shooting, bull whipping, singing and comedy, all performed in a 90 foot long arena with 18 foot tall backdrop. Special short-range shot (25 feet) will be used to prevent accidents. According to the operator, he's never had an incident in more than two decades of performing.
